Candlelight and Roses

The theme for the reception is candlelight and roses.  I want to keep it simple, clean, elegant and classy.  We'll be having the reception at Waterford at Springfield (obviously).  It's a black tie affair, so I'd like to keep the look formal.  The colors will be primarily black and white (ivory, not stark white) and accents of red and silver.

Below are some photos that I've found as inspiration for the decor.

So, the colors aren't right on this photo, but I love the tablescape.
-Napkin folds. We'd put a menu card inside black (rented) napkins.
-Bread basket. At waterford we usually have a bread plate with butter, but i prefer this little basket with a napkin inside and bread for everyone. It takes up less space on the table.  The B&B plates are below the glasses (normally they are above the knife).
-Square large mirror. We have small round (12 inch) mirrors at waterford, but i love that a larger mirror will reflect more light.
-Pillar candles. Iwant to have LOTS of them, but combines with roses and rose petals. Candles will be ivory, roses will be red.  This photo uses 4 different heights of candles (5 candles total, 2 at the same height).  I love this, but could also go with 3 candles, each at a different height.
This just gives another view of the same concept.
-Roses in small vases. I'd like to have a few different centerpieces, all using candles (pillar or votive) and roses (petals or full flowers).  I think that by having a variety, it will be a lot more interesting.

This is a combination of the roses in small cylinder vases and floating candles.  I like pillar candles better than floating candles in a cylinder vase, but it's the same idea.  I love the simplicity of this look.

Gobo
-If we can afford it, Id love to have a gobo of our monogram on the wall and/or dancefloor.  If there are no other weddings happening at the same time, my dad also said we could do one on the water wall, which is outside the ballroom.

Headtable
-Lots of rose petals!!!  The head table will be long, seating around 20-24 people (bridal party and their guests).  I love the look of lots and lots of red roses down the middle, and then a mixture of small votives and pillar candles going down the center.
