Adventures in Shoes

I thought I wanted really sparkly blue shoes to wear on wedding day.  Because they would be unexpected and could also be my "something blue".

I started out with these...

And I took off the bows and added rhinestone initials to add a little personal touch...

So they ended up looking like that, except without all of the glare.  They are VERY sparkly.

Then I shared a photo of them with my style guru (AKA Ms. Aliza Sinkinson) and she told me that, quote, they looked like : "glitter and trash threw up on them".  She sent me a bunch of links to various shoes online, and it was hard to get the color right, but eventually she found these...

I LOVE them.  I ordered them from Zappos, and they were here less than 24 hours later.  That's amazing.  

They're comfy (comfier than the sparkle trash ones) and they have roses and rhinestones, which totally match the wedding.  And they're a great shade of blue.

I talked to a classmate, who said that maybe if I wore blue shoes it would be too "American flag".  Which got me thinking...what if I just kept with the theme and stuck with red shoes.  I already have something else for a "something blue" anyway.  So along with new blue ones, I ordered these...

And they're also perfect!  In fact I think I like them even more than new blue ones.  The red is gorgeous, and I'm so excited.  

Which shoes do YOU like the best?

I'm getting so excited, we're almost 3 months out...I cant believe it.
